Metal 3D Printing in Dentistry

Metal 3d Printing another step in digital dentistry

Metal 3d printing is using bio-compatible cobalt chrome powder.
Direct Metal Laser Sintering (DMLS) is the main technology of choice for dental prosthesis.
Procedure
After designing the restoration send the STL file to the 3d printing center. They will use a specific program associated with metal 3d printer and you will get the prosthesis after the printing done. I tried a implant abutment and the result was very nice, especially the fitting.

After the 3d printing results

Metal 3D printed dental prosthesis includes

 Full anatomy crowns & bridges,
 Metal frame of crowns & bridges
 Custom implant abutments
 Screw retained implant crown and bridges
 Implant hybrid bridges frame
 Partial dentures
 Post and core
